The 7th edition of REMEX, a rowing event between Laginha beach, São Vicente, and Armazém beach, in the city of Porto Novo on the island of Santo Antão, in partnership with ENAPOR - Portos de Cabo Verde, took place last Saturday, 5th August.

This year, the REMEX CANAL CHALLENGE honoured the pioneers of the rowing/canoeing event, which took place in 1994, and one of the honorees was ENAPOR - Portos de Cabo Verde.

Representing ENAPOR, Dagnir Mota, Director of the port of Porto Novo, received the trophy of honour and during the ceremony stressed that ENAPOR attaches special importance to promoting these initiatives that promote water sports and affirmed the company's commitment to continuing to support these activities in accordance with its Social Responsibility Policy.

In this 7th edition of REMEX, the winner of the race was José Luís, who finished the course in 2h15.
