Minister of the Sea visits Mindelo Cruise Terminal construction site

On Monday morning, the Minister for the Sea, Abraão Vicente, visited the Mindelo Cruise Terminal construction site to find out about the progress of the work.
During the visit, the Minister of the Sea was able to see on site the progress of the work, which is in the pile driving phase for the construction of the Land Bridge and the Jetty (new pier). A total of 200 piles will be driven and this process, which began in June, is expected to take around seven months.
Speaking to the press, Abraão Vicente said that all the conditions are in place for the work to proceed at a good pace and for the Cruise Terminal to be ready in the first half of 2024.
The government official was accompanied by members of ENAPOR's Board of Directors, the Managing Director of Porto Grande, the Director of Infrastructure Development and Maintenance and the Cruise Terminal Project Manager.
