Enapor - Portos De Cabo Verde presents 2024 activity plan and budget to the Minister of the Sea

Enapor Portos de Cabo Verde, the state-owned company responsible for port management and logistics at national level, today presented its activity plan and budget for the 2024 financial year to the Minister of the Sea, Abraão Vicente.
Before outlining the general panorama of investments and funds allocated to each sector, the Board of Directors (BoD) took stock of the projects underway this year and those that will be carried over to 2024, such as the Mindelo Cruise Terminal, which will be delivered in the first half of the year.
According to CA, Enapor will focus on continued technological innovation in port services, human resources, ISO certification, procurement and energy transition.
In terms of investments in infrastructure, the following stood out: the Purge Centre in Porto Novo, completion of the Cruise Terminal works and launch of the tender for the expansion of Mindelo's Porto Grande, expansion of the third phase of the Port of Palmeira, construction of maritime stations, completion of the Praia port labour building works, preparation of the master plan for the expansion of the Ports of Vale dos Cavaleiros in Fogo and Furna in Brava.
The presentation was attended by the Chairman of Enapor's Board of Directors, Ireneu Camacho, the Executive Directors, Eneida Gomes and Eduardo Lima, and the Financial Advisor to the Cape Verde Ministry of the Sea, Stefanie Monteiro.
