ENAPOR - Cape Verde Ports attends the 1st International Congress on Science, Innovation and Development in Lusophony

Represented by the Advisor to the Board of Directors, Mr Alcídio Lopes, ENAPOR took part this morning in the Science and Innovation: Entrepreneurship, Co-creation, Startups" panel at the 1st International Congress on Science, Innovation and Development in Lusophony.
During his presentation, Alcídio Lopes highlighted the role of Cape Verde's ports in the context of climate change, digitalisation, decarbonisation and green practices, as well as the challenges and benefits of the Mindelo Cruise Terminal.
He also spoke about the importance of implementing scanners in ports in the safety and inspection process and analysed ENAPOR's position as one of the promoters of the "Blue Economy" in Cape Verde.
Organised by the Lusófona University of Cape Verde, this 1st International Congress on Science, Innovation and Development in Lusophony took place in Mindelo on 18, 19 and 20 October and the opening session was attended by the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves and the Vice-President of the Republic of Angola, Esperança da Costa.
