Cape Verde Ports takes part in African and Spanish Women Port Workers' Days

With the aim of developing actions aimed at professionalising, promoting and maximising the role of African women in the port sector, the Portos de Las Palmas Foundation has organised another edition of the Days of African and Spanish Port Women, which will take place from 2 to 6 October in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, and ENAPOR - Port of Cape Verde will be represented by the Executive Director, Eneida Gomes and the Financial Director, Cátia Almeida.
During these four days of meetings between African and Spanish women from the port and maritime world, various activities will be held to strengthen ties and collaborations that are beneficial to both parties.
This year's days, which will be dedicated to topics such as the digitalisation of ports, equality and the empowerment of women in the port sector, will be attended by around 80 women from 17 African ports, Spanish authorities and other personalities from the sector.
